Course Description:

Learn how to design and implement innovative strategies to embrace and integrate technology in the primary (PK-3) classroom! Best practices for this age group will be explored along with a wide variety of technologies. You will learn how to use guides to evaluate various apps and tools to determine if they are developmentally appropriate for your young students, and you will develop learning activities that support skill development, authentic writing experiences, documenting learning, and communicating and collaborating with others. Whether you are a technology enthusiast looking for new ideas and guidance about developmentally appropriate practices, or you are new to the idea of using technology with young children, this course is for you!
