Ashmann , Dr. Scott
Scott Ashmann is an associate professor of science education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where he has taught science methods courses, environmental education, and graduate level research methods since 2003. He began his career as a high school chemistry and physics teacher. After earning his Ph.D. from Michigan State University in Curriculum, Teaching, and Educational Policy with an emphasis in science education, he spent one year as a faculty member at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago before returning to his alma mater. His research interests include the teaching and learning of science, science teacher professional development, and exploring how environmental education is included in teacher preparation.
