Holstead, Dr. Jenell
Jenell is an Assistant Professor in Human Development and Psychology at UWGB. She earned her Doctorate from Indiana University in School Psychology and her primary area of expertise is researching and evaluating out-of-school time programs. She has observed hundreds of after school programs in her roles as a local and state-wide evaluator of 21st Century Community Learning Center programs. She consults regularly with programs on ways to improve quality of out-of-school time for youth, how to improve student academic and social-emotional functioning, best practices in training and retaining high quality staff, and involving families after school.
