Aviation and Aerodynamics for Private and Sport Pilots (0693NC)
Description: This noncredit course is designed to help you understand the aerodynamic principles and physics of powered flight as well as to evaluate the exciting field of aviation as a career or hobby. This course prepares you for successfully passing the FAA private pilot or Sport Pilot written exam. Upon completion of the 8 week course you will receive an endorsement to take the FAA Private Pilot or Sport Pilot Knowledge Test.
Prerequisite: There is no required prerequisite for this course.
Fee:
- *$360 for private pilot
- *$330 for sport pilot
*Fee includes a complete kit of books and supplies. Students must specify their choice for private or sport pilot track upon registration, and will receive the appropriate kit the first night of class. Course fee does not include the fee of taking an FAA Knowledge Test.
Course Schedule: This course will meet each Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, beginning with April 6th and running through May 25th, 2010.
