Green Innovations Symposium
A primary mission of the EMBI is to host an annual conference that joins the University, local businesses and community leaders to work toward the realization of a sustainable future. The annual conference is called Green Innovations, and features international experts and local panelists who can provide insight on important topics such as sustainability in transportation, wind energy, regional health, regional sustainability and water management.
Designed to help businesses and organizations that are interested in improving their bottom line with innovation and sustainability, the symposium features group discussion sessions with experts in fields ranging from the paper industry, dairy farms, energy companies and more. Each year greener thinking and greener technologies are showcased in a variety of ways, including keynote speakers, breakout sessions, exhibitions and networking.
The 2014 Green Innovations Symposium "Heating the Midwest with Renewable Biomass" will be held will be held at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, April 29 – May 1,2014 in partnership with Heating the Midwest and The Oneida Nation.
