Endowment Funds
Academic Excellence Scholarship Endowment
Created as part of the 1996-97 Employee Drive , this scholarship fund assists students at UW-Green Bay who meet several academic criteria.
Athletic Endowment (non-membership fund)
Created to support general operations in Athletics.
Cofrin Arboretum Endowment
Established to provide funding to cover operational costs associated with the Cofrin Arboretum.
David Christensen Memorial Award
Created in 1985 to honor former Counseling and Student Development Center Director David Christensen, this award provides financial assistance to students in need of counseling, medical care, equipment, and other areas.
Environmental Science Endowment
Established by faculty from the NAS area to provide resources to be used as scholarships or other awards as determined by the NAS department.
Marjorie M. Weidner Staff Development Fund
Established in 1998 by former UW-Green Bay employee and friend Marjorie Weidner, this award provides financial assistance for professional development to academic and clerical staff at UW-Green Bay .
Point Sauble Wetland Endowment
Established in 1999, this fund supports projects and studies dealing with the operation and preservation of the Point Sauble Wetland area.
University Education Endowment
Created as part of the 1996-97 Employee Drive , this endowment fund provides supplemental funds to meet general University operating expenses, as determined in the campus planning and budgeting process.
University Memorial Scholarship Endowment
This scholarship was established in memory of deceased University employees, students and friends, including: Arthur Atkisson, Nancy Datan, Dennis Girard, Al Swinerton, Hans Van Beek and Abraham Shepard. The scholarship assists first-year students at UW-Green Bay who graduated in the top five percent of their high school class.
University Union & Shorewood Endowment Fund
Established in 2006, this fund provides resources to be used for scholarships or other areas of need for the University Union and Shorewood Golf Course.
UW-Green Bay Housing Operations Endowment
Created to support general operating expenses in Residence Life.
Weidner Center Endowment (non-membership fund)
Established to support general operating expenses for the Edward Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.
Weidner Family Endowment
Established in 1999 by UW-Green Bay Chancellor Emeritus Dr. Edward Weidner, the Weidner Family Endowment supports the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity, theatre and dance programs, the UWGB music program, intercollegiate athletics, and the Chancellor's Office.
