Mission

Purpose of the Corporation:

The purpose of Educational Television Productions of Northeast Wisconsin (a nonprofit 501(c)(3), is to support educational television co-productions between Wisconsin Public Television and the Corporation (ETP-NEW) and to be available to contract, as well, for the production of video projects of an educational and instructional nature with other individuals and organizations. The 501(c)(3) funds productions of it’s own or as co-productions with WPT and other broadcast entities.

ETP-NEW’s purpose is to continue the history of outstanding programs that have been produced at this facility such as those previously co-produced by WPTV and NEWIST. ETP-NEW offers a “platform” that assures the continuation of outstanding public service media productions and encourages an active and vital professional artistic community of individuals who can make effective use of the facility.

The facility, located at the University of Wisconsin –Green Bay, continues as a gathering place for creative talent continues to produce educational and instructional projects for broadcast to the general public and is available for use by private organizations where their purpose and project fits the mission of the Corporation.
