The vehicle fleet provides a uniform administration
of University related vehicle travel and is a self-supporting auxiliary.
User revenues cover operating costs and amortization of replacement
vehicles.
Fleet vehicles are to be used for University business only. Drivers
are personally liable for damage and claims resulting from improper
use of University vehicles, as well as State property illegally
taken from vehicles such as ice scrapers, spare tires, etc. All
passengers must also be traveling on University business.
