SEOTY 2008
Brittany Brodziski was named UW-Green Bay's 4th Student Employee
of the Year in a ceremony held in the Phoenix Rooms on Thursday, April 17,
2008 at 5:00 p.m. Brittany was one of ten nominees who competed for this award.
Supervisor's were asked to nominate their student employees based on their
performance in the areas of reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism,
and uniqueness of contribution. Each nominee received a certificate of recognition.
The awards were presented by Chancellor Bruce Shepard, and Kelly Franz, Controller,
who represented the judging committee.
Brittany has been employed as a Laboratory Technician for two years and was nominated by Joe Schoenebeck. Joe stated that "Brittany has been a great asset to our department. She works well with others as an instructor as well as a trainee. She is able to critically think about problems making me trust her judgment in making sound decisions about organization and safety."
Brittany's name has been engraved in a plaque that will hang in the Financial Aid & Student Employment Office. Brittany's picture has been placed on the traveling plaque and will be displayed in the Natural and Applied Sciences office for one year. Brittany received an engraved clock which serves as a reminder of how much we value the time she has spent giving to UW-Green Bay as a student employee.
In addition, the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators has named Brittany Brodziski the 2008 Student Employee of the Year for the State of Wisconsin. For this honor, she has received a State Award certificate, a letter of Congratulations and a check for $75.00. I have added a photo. Of Joe Schoenebeck, Brittany, and the Chancellor.
