Eligibility Information

As a special student, you are considered non-degree seeking at UW-Green Bay. Because of that, you are ineligible to receive federal or state financial aid through UW-Green Bay’s Financial Aid Office. If you are enrolling in courses here but are degree-seeking at another institution, there may be a way for you to include the credits you’re taking here in your total credit load for the term. Talk to your Financial Aid Office at your home institution to find out more. They may have you complete and forward to us what is called a Consortium Agreement, which shows that you are enrolled at another institution and would like to have aid to cover your costs at both institutions.

If you are not enrolled at another institution as a degree-seeking student, see the Funding Your Education page for an additional option that may be available to you.
