Chernick/Wochinske Alumni Challenge
Thank you, alumni, for doubling your dollars!
Two University of Wisconsin-Green Bay alums, Rick Chernick and Jim Wochinske (both ’74), challenged all alumni to give back to UW-Green Bay last year to help support student scholarships and academic programs at the University. They pledged to match every new dollar given to UW-Green Bay by alumni between October 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012. All gifts made by first-time donors were matched 100%! For those who have given in the past, any increases made in their gifts this year were matched.
Help keep the momentum going...
The response was overwhelming, as alumni really stepped up to the challenge. Alumni donated an additional $92,362 to the University last year. Coupled with the $50,000 match from Rick Chernick and Jim Wochinske, that's $142,362 extra dollars for student scholarships and academic programs here on campus! Thank you for supporting your alma mater and helping to make a difference in student's lives at UW-Green Bay!
