Trustees advertise full-page, full-throttle support
“Congratulations to UW-Green Bay on a Spectacular 2012!”
That’s the headline on a full-page ad that hundreds of thousands of Green Bay Press-Gazette and Appleton Post-Crescent readers will find in both the Sunday (Dec. 23) and Tuesday (Dec. 25) editions of their respective newspapers.
The ad lists 16 notable achievements from the 2012 calendar year ranging from Gregory S. Aldrete’s selection as Professor of the Year to record enrollments, a No. 1 academic rating for Phoenix women’s basketball, and Library of the Year honors for the David A. Cofrin Library.
The ad is sponsored by University advisers and advocates who make up the Council of Trustees/UW-Green Bay Foundation Board of Directors. The display features the full roster of 32 regional and national business leaders, local civic leaders, higher education professionals, and UW-Green Bay alumni.
