Cofrin Library Services Assistant
For nearly 40 years, Sandy Bohman has quietly delivered. As the Cofrin Library's acquisitions supervisor, she's the person who tracks down and orders books and videos at faculty request, even the sometimes challenging requests, such as finding out-of-print or highly obscure works.
Patrons are notified when the items arrive, but credit to the person who did the legwork is rare.
She has adapted without complaint to her share of quirky computerized search and tracking through the years and managed the library's Federal Depository Library Program. She is described by colleagues and students as sincerely caring, incredibly patient and professional with a positive, kind attitude.
