Associate Professor, Humanistic Studies
His peers say that Brian Sutton has accumulated enough service for two people and that his commitment to UW-Green Bay is second to none. He is recognized widely for his service across a great variety of University initiatives. For nearly two decades, Sutton has guided the growth of the English Composition program and its Writing Center, helping thousands of students to become better writers and communicators. He has served as chair of the University’s General Education Council and on the Committee on Awards and Recognition, and as an elected representative to the UW-Green Bay Faculty Senate.
In fall of 2009, Sutton began a one-year term as chair of the Senate’s executive arm, the University Committee.
