Award for Excellence
His ability to locate and obtain rare materials for research and courses is what initially set Jeff Brunner apart for this award. In one instance, he not only managed to track down the sole existing copy of a book in all of North America, he also persuaded the institution that owned it to bend the rules and lend it out.
In the past year, under his management, the interlibrary loan service increased more than 230 percent. Brunner is a 2002 graduate of UW-Green Bay, majoring in history. He recently earned his master's degree in library and information science and is now working as an electronic resources librarian.
