Elaina Koltz 2013 Recipient of the Academic Support Award for ExcellenceFinancial Aid Adviser and Veterans Benefits Coordinator

UW-Green Bay is near the top of Wisconsin universities serving the highest percentage of enrolled military veterans, and Elaina Koltz is the key contact providing advice and guidance to these students with unique needs. A veteran herself, Koltz certifies benefits for more than 400 veteran students and their dependents annually. She is regarded as a key resource by students, her peers, and federal and state veterans officials. It is a testament to her work that G.I. Jobs Magazine places UW-Green Bay annually among the most veteran-friendly campuses in the nation.

Koltz had previously served five years in the U.S. Army as a military administrative assistant to the commander in chief of the U.S. Army Europe and the Seventh Army. When she is not serving veterans, she aids the Financial Aid office in counseling other UWGB students.
