Virgil and Lorraine (Panske) Thomson Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Discipline: General

Student: New and Continuing, graduated from a high school in Marinette or Oconto County

The Virgil and Lorraine (Panske) Thomson Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in memory of Virgil and Lorraine Thomson to benefit students from a high school in Marinette or Oconto County (preference to graduates of Coleman High School or St. Thomas Aquinas Academy).  They were loving parents who worked hard to provide an environment where their children would grow to be confident, caring and successful adults.  Virgil was a life-long resident of Coleman, a graduate in the Class of 1944 and served on the Coleman School Board. Lorraine was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School (now St. Thomas Aquinas Academy), Class of 1950.  Virgil and Lorraine were very giving people and supporters within their community.
