Lowell Hoeft earned his B.S. in French from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and an M.A. in French from the University of Northern Iowa with graduate studies at L'Universite Catholique de l'Ouest in Angers, France. His teaching experience has been at Seymour H.S. in Wisconsin, at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, IA, and at Wartburg College, Waverly, IA. In addition, Mr. Hoeft was an American Association of Teachers of French Exchange Teacher at the Lycee Pardailhan in Auch, France, and a Fulbright Teacher Exchange teacher at the College Weczerka in Chelles, France. While at the University of Northern Iowa, Mr. Hoeft had the opportunity to work in the International Student Teacher Placement Office where he coordinated internships for students wishing to teach in American and International Schools overseas.
Mr. Hoeft has traveled in many parts of the Francophone world including Europe, the French West Indies, French Polynesia and Africa.
Mr. Hoeft is teaching French 101 and 201 in Fall 2013, and teaches for us Fall terms.
