French Club

The French Club-La fête sponsors different student led activities on campus. These activities range from conversation tables in French, film nights, attendance of French cultural plays, and other fun activities. The club gives students the opportunity to know other people who share similar interests. In addition, it provides a wonderful opportunity to learn leadership skills through serving as an officer.

Announcements about Club meetings will be made in your French classes. For more information about how to get involved email the Chair of Modern Languages or talk to your French instructor.

Activities sponsored by the club often include movie nights, crêpe parties, visits and presentations about French, Francophone and French/Canadian cultures. Other activities:

  • French music concerts
  • Showing French movies at the University
  • Speaking and presenting at area schools
  • Crêpe parties
