Direct Deposit/E-Refunds

A refund occurs when your Financial Aid exceeds the charges on your account or you have dropped classes within the refund period. Financial Aid refunds are generally available on or after the first day of classes unless your aid is late or incomplete. E-Refunds can be sent directly to your checking or savings account by signing up for direct deposit. Once you have enrolled in E-Refunds it will be in effect the entire time you are a student at UW-Green Bay.

How to sign up for direct deposit?

Step by step directions can be seen here.

What if I change banks?

You’ll need to update your new bank information in SIS under “Electronic Refunds.” If we are notified by our bank that your account information is incorrect, this could result in a two week delay of receiving your refund.

When can I expect my refund check?

Financial Aid refunds are generally available on the first day of classes unless your aid is late or incomplete. When you see your refund post on your SIS account, it is available for pick up or will be deposited in the designated account 2 business days later. To see if a refund has posted to your account, check “Account Activity” in SIS.
