Summer Abroad Program
One Month in Germany and Switzerland
Imagine yourself this August in the medieval German university town of Konstanz, on picturesque Lake Constance at the foothills of the Swiss Alps! Imagine the old castles and churches, hiking in the breath-taking Alps, hearing cowbells from the pastures, taking leisurely boat trips across the lake and up the beautiful Rhein, seeing masterpieces of German art first hand in some of the best art museums in the world, sampling the flavors at local festivals and famous eateries in Munich and Alsace! Imagine waking up with sunny Southern Germany at your doorstep and meeting people from all over the world. Imagine for not too much more than your monthly living expenses in Green Bay, a 3-credit course on campus and airfare to Europe, you could be living and traveling in Europe instead! Plus, the daily contact with German culture and language in classroom and everyday situations will greatly improve your cultural and linguistic proficiency as well. Bring a friend and/or meet new ones! And, you do not have to speak German or already be a student at UW-Green Bay in order to share in the adventure. All you need is a passport and to register for the travel course.....
