Key Activities

The gerontology center brings together faculty and students from many different programs across the UW-Green Bay community as well as members from the broader community to promote discussion and research across disciplines, and to follow the interdisciplinary mission of the university. The Gerontology Center includes faculty from Business, Humanistic Studies, Human Development, Psychology, Nursing and Social Work, all interested in working toward the common goal of promoting education and knowledge continuing adult development and aging processes.

Each year the UWGB Gerontology Center hopes to offer students, faculty, and others in the community interested in the gerontology opportunities to exchange ideas and information and learn more through various sponsored presentations such as Round Table Discussions, Invited Lectures and the Innovation in Aging Project. The Center's members are also active in a number of research areas that inquire into adult development and aging processes.
