Founders Association Community Campaign
Community members have supported UW-Green Bay from its inception and play a critical role in providing the “margin of excellence” created by private contributions. As a tax-assisted university, UW-Green Bay receives less than 30 percent of its operating budget from the state of Wisconsin, leaving a significant gap to be filled through tuition and private philanthropy.
Contributions are used to assist the University in many areas:
- Financial aid and scholarships
- Academic programs
- New classroom equipment
- Performing and visual arts performances
- International travel programs
- Library materials
- Diversity initiatives
- Student Leadership Development Programs
By making a financial contribution, donors participate in a rich tradition, joining the exclusive ranks of the Founders Association. Members of the Founders Association are invited to social gatherings, and are engaged with the events, activities and people at UW-Green Bay. They also serve as leaders in advocating for the University and its students.
