Marcelo Cruz*
Associate Professor of Urban & Regional Studies (Geography)
Emphases or Area of Research: Dr. Cruz’s research has focused on ethnic identity and land use. His research interests are in urban and regional development in the United States and abroad. He brings his work experience on community development and regional planning theory in Andean South America, and Western Europe into the classroom. Dr Cruz’s students have interned in local planning and community development agencies and organizations. He strongly believes in getting students to act local while thinking global. As part of this global link Dr. Cruz leads students on travel courses to Ecuador and Switzerland.

Jill S. White
Assistant Professor, Human Development
Education: Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky
Emphases or Area of Research:Dr. White is an anthropologist who conducts research on adolescence, immigration, and identity construction, with a regional focus on Mexico. She conducts ethnographic research in Mexico and the Green Bay area, and offers opportunities for research assistants, especially those with some Spanish-speaking ability. She is also looking for TAs and offers independent study and internship opportunities for those interested in how culture influences human development over the life course.
