Why don’t you book Dave Matthews Band?

  1. First, a band like this costs about $150,000 to $500,000. This price does not include all the lighting, sound, staffing, and venue costs. The budget that Good Times Programming is allotted is roughly $25,000. In order to get a budget capable of doing a Dave Matthews or Tim McGraw, segregated fees in your tuition cost would sky rocket since that is how we are funded as a student organization.

  2. The second reason is our university does not have a venue capable of housing enough people to generate enough revenue to pay for the show without making ticket prices outrageous. Right now, ticket rates are already around the $20 mark for a Mainstage event like Jimmy Eat World.
