Schedule of Events - TENTATIVE FOR 2017

To help you plan your week, we have the following events scheduled.

Daily Classes

Monday-Thursday classes begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and end around 5:00 p.m.
Friday classes begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 11:00 a.m.

Lunch (included in your registration fee) is from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Morning refreshments will be coffee and tea.
Afternoon refreshments will include a beverage and snack.

6:00-7:30 p.m. Check-In to the Institute - Pick up your Class Schedule and Handouts

Pick up your Schedule and Handouts the night before to avoid lines in the morning.

First Year Clerks and Treasurers only:

6:30-7:15 p.m. First Year Welcoming Reception

The First Year Welcoming Reception is a fun event that gives First Year students coming to the Institute a chance to meet their mentor and new classmates.
Look for your mentor’s name on the tables. (Dinner will NOT be provided this year.)

7:30-8:00 p.m. First Year Orientation


6:30-8:00 a.m. Check-In to the Institute - Pick up your Class Schedule and Handouts

8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Courses

5:15-5:45 p.m. Information Session: How to Become a Certified Clerk or Treasurer

Open to all interested persons who would like information on applying Institute courses toward Certifications.


8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Courses

5:15-6:15 p.m. Radisson Manager's Reception

This get-together is another opportunity to make new friends and renew old friendships. The Radisson Hotel is offering a reception for our group at Purcell's Lounge. They will have hors d'oeuvres. You will have to purchase your own beverage.


8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Courses

5:30-8:00 p.m. All Conference Event - Farmers' Market ON BROADWAY

The Wednesday Farmers' Market ON BROADWAY is one of Wisconsin’s top two largest farmers market. With over 170 vendors coming from a radius of 60 to 90 miles away, it is the place to be on Wednesday evenings!  This amazing extravaganza in the historic downtown Broadway District features live entertainment, fruits, vegetables, arts, crafts, fresh and hot food, boutique shopping, desserts and drinks. It is a lively fun place to spend a pleasant evening. 

Bus transportation will be provided from the Radisson hotel to the Farmers Market. The buses will begin to load at 5:30 p.m. and will leave the Radisson as they fill up. The buses will make continuous loops between the Radisson Hotel and downtown. You will catch the return bus at the same plave as our drop-off point at the Neville Public Museum. The Farmers Market closes at 8:00 pm sharp. Our last bus will leave at approximately 8:20 p.m. from the Nevill Public Museum. If you miss the last bus, it will be your responsibility to secure your own transportation for your return trip.

5:00-6:30 p.m. Class Photos

Check the bulletin board for the time for your track's group photo. Please arrive promptly in the hotel lobby.

6:45-9:00 p.m. Banquet and Graduation Ceremonies

All are invited! This program is one of our proudest moments at the Institute. Don’t miss this opportunity to honor our graduates. We also recognize and pass out scholarships to the selected recipients. The Graduation Banquet is included in your Institute tuition fee.
