Unique Learning Opportunity
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Master Academy is advanced education for clerks and treasurers.  This unique learning opportunity is the only Academy of this kind in the state of Wisconsin.  The four day Master Academy takes cutting-edge issue critical in local government to the next level.  Our courses are structured to expose attendees to a multitude of perspectives, visionary thinking and innovative problem solving.  You can come for a day or all four days.

Hands-On Learning
The goal of our classes is to give you the tools to immediately apply your learning to your job.  You will engage in exchanges of information, share job-related experiences, examine real-life case studies and work in group think clusters.  Our courses are designed to combine lecture, discussion and hands-on learning giving you an exciting opportunity to implement “new” ideas.

Library of Learning Materials
Each course provides take home materials that serve as a reference for you back in your office.  These reference materials may become one of your most important collections of knowledge.

Networking Opportunity
The Master Academy creates a multitude of formal and informal opportunities for networking and the exchanging of ideas.  In an environment of seasoned professionals, exciting innovative brainstorming and problem solving can yield high results.  

Scholarships
WMCA awards scholarships to members of their association.  Scholarships range from $100 to all expensed paid.  Go to WMCA’s website at www.wisclerks.org to get your application. 

 

Internationally Accredited

The International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) has approved and recognizes the Master Academy for credit toward the Master Municipal Clerks (MMC) and Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) re-certification.
