Dr. Jennifer Lanter
Dr. Jennifer Lanter is the Director of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning and is an Associate Professor in Human Development and Psychology. She teaches courses in Cognitive Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, Infancy and Early Childhood and a First Year Seminar on Children’s Television. Her research interests include children’s language acquisition and projects related to teaching and learning in the classroom. Dr. Lanter is active in community projects that relate to her academic interests, including serving as Chair of the United Way’s Children, Youth, and Family Impact Council, and serving on the Steering Committee for the Wildlife Sanctuary’s Nature-Based 4K Program.
