DegreesThe degrees awarded are M.S. in Management, M.S. in Applied Leadership for Teaching and Learning, M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy, or M.S. in Social Work.
Credits RequiredA minimum of 30 - 58 credits, depending upon the chosen program, is required for completion of the UW-Green Bay Master of Science degree.
GradesStudents are expected to maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0, on a scale of 4.0. Students who fail to maintain this average are subject to probation or suspension as specified in the Graduate Academic Rules and Regulations.
Time LimitMatriculated graduate students must complete all requirements for the M.S. degree within five years. This time period begins with the first day of the first academic term following acceptance to a degree program.
Course RequirementsEach student, in consultation with an advisor, must develop an individual plan of study to satisfy the requirements of the chosen degree program. A Program Plan outlining the student's course of study must be submitted and approved in the semester in which the first six graduate credits are completed. Plans can be modified as interests or circumstances change. Official transcripts must support transfer courses. An acceptable plan must include:
- Graduate Core courses
(13-15 credits minimum) - Area of Emphasis courses
(15 credits minimum) - Thesis/Professional Project
(6 credits minimum)
