In addition to being our director, Caroline is an Associate Professor of Humanities and European History. Her teaching and research interests include early modern European history; British and Irish history; Atlantic history; popular politics and political culture; social history; and the public and digital humanities. She is the co-editor of the Syllabus Journal. Her forthcoming book, Disaffection and Everyday Life in Interregnum England, considers how the politics of revolution intersect with the politics of everyday life in the wake of the English Revolution. She has other publications in The Journal of British Studies and The Seventeenth Century, and she is currently a Blogger for the National Conference on British Studies.
