The Green Bay Area
Green Bay's metropolitan area is made up of the communities
of Ashwaubenon, Allouez, Bellevue, DePere, Howard, and Suamico. Established
in 1634 on the shores of Lake Michigan, Green Bay is the oldest
settlement in the Midwest.
Located near Door
County, a premier resort and tourism destination and near
Wisconsin's northwoods, Green Bay is also part of the Fox
River Valley, the second most populated area of the state
with nearly 750,000 people residing in the area spanning from
Green Bay to Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Campus Highlights
State of the art facilities
The campus has state of the art classrooms, including Mary
Ann Cofrin (MAC) Hall, a green building that generates a portion
of its energy needs with a solar wall, photovoltaic metal roof that harnesses light from the sun and generates about 15,000 kilowatt hours
of electricity annually.
Kress Events Center
The Kress Events
Center is the headquarters for workouts, weight training,
intramural sports and more! The facility features an athletics
training room, two weight rooms, a cardio deck, an Olympic-sized
pool, racquetball courts, a climbing tower, outdoor playing
fields, and a multipurpose gymnasium for basketball, volleyball
and indoor tennis.
University Union
The University Union serves
as the campus center offering meeting facilities, retail and dining,
the Phoenix Bookstore,
Common Grounds Coffee House, The
Marketplace, and the UW Credit Union.
Arboretum
The John P. and Austin Cofrin
Memorial Arboretum, a 260-acre greenbelt encompasses the
campus and serves as the boundary between campus and community. The
arboretum's trails offer miles of walking, hiking, biking
and cross-country skiing for the campus and Green Bay community.
The Shorewood Golf Course
The Shorewood,
a nine-hole golf course and club house is located on campus
is open to the public and offers tournament and league
play.
