There are five new apartment-style residence halls, which offer 2 student/2 bedroom, 3 student/3 bedroom, 4 student/4 bedroom,
and 5 student/5 bedroom apartments. All apartments are non-smoking.
The majority of students living in the on-campus apartments are upperclassmen. It is typical for students to move to the
apartments after about two years of living in the residence halls because it gives them a little more independence.
Students in the apartments are not required to purchase the meal plan and are able to cook their own meals.
Because the students in the apartments are mostly upperclassmen preparing to graduate, they have special needs that
Residence Life tries to address. A lot of the programming in the apartments focuses on providing life skills that will
be useful later on. Everything in the set up of the apartments is designed to prepare students for when they will be
living on their own.
