Housing Application for New Students (NOT for current residents of housing)
It's As Easy As One, Two Three...
Step 1: Applying for Housing On-line: See
step-by-step instructions
- Applying: You may apply for housing anytime. There is a benefit
to applying earlier in the year as housing contracts are only sent
out based on availability, if you do not initially get a housing
contract, you will be placed on a waiting list, pending cancellations.. Room
preference is also honored on a first come, first serve basis.
- Advance Deposit: During the initial application process, no
deposit is needed. A $225 advance housing deposit is required
with a returned contract including a $25 nonrefundable
processing fee. Please know that your entire deposit may
be nonrefundable after May 1st. Please see
housing
contract (PDF) for further details.
- Special Housing
Accommodations: Students
who have disabilities requiring special housing accommodations,
or family members with disabilities requiring special
access considerations, should also
contact both the Office of Residence Life and the Office of
Disability Services on campus.
Step 2: Return Housing Contract
- Housing Contracts Sent: Pending availability, a housing contract will be sent to you. If you
have questions, please contact the Office of Residence Life during regular
business hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday) at
(920) 465-2040.
- Return Contract: Your contract must be returned with advanced
deposit by the deadline indicated on the contract or your housing
application may be cancelled.
Step 3: Confirmation of Your Housing Assignment
-
In July you will receive your room or apartment
assignment, roommate names, and your on-campus mailing address.
- If you decide to cancel during
any stage of this process you must notify the Office of Residence
Life as soon as possible
to reduce the risk of penalty. Please see the
housing
contract (PDF) for more information.
