Julia previously served as Vice President and Provost of Central Michigan University. Before that, she spent more than two decades as a Professor, Department Chair and Dean at the University of Northern Iowa. A Professor of Psychology and Specialist in Gerontology, Wallace earned her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology at the State University of New York at Binghamton. She also holds a M.A. in the same discipline from Binghamton and a B.S. in Psychology from the State University of New York College at Oswego. She later added a M.S. in Preventative Medicine and Environmental Health from the University of Iowa, and in summer 2001 she completed the Management Development Program at Harvard University. Julia is from Delmar, New York.

Paul is charged with helping establish IEI — an initiative launched during the 2008-09 academic year — to position UW-Green Bay as a leader in business innovation processes. He is returning to the Green Bay area from Arizona where he worked in the private sector as an engineering manager and a brand and marketing manager with companies including Xyron, Inc. He was also active with Arizona State University and its initiatives involving product and service innovation. Paul holds bachelor’s degrees in industrial engineering and economics, and a master’s in technology management.

Jaida was an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa for the past 8 years. Previous to graduate school, she worked for the Utne Reader magazine as their salon muse and coordinator. Jaida has been practicing the White Crane Silat martial art for over 25 years. She teaches self-defense and health movement classes and hopes to start a silat club at UWGB. She is also a conflict-resolution trainer and small-group facilitator. Jaida received her B.A. in Linguistics from the University of California Berkeley, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. Jaida was born in Minneapolis, grew up in New York, and Honolulu, Hawai‘i has been her home for the past 14 years.
