Essential Job Functions:

The Professional Program in Education at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay seeks applicants for a Lecturer position in Education.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Teach a course load of 27 credits per academic year of early childhood and introductory field-based inquiry courses in education.
  • Advise students.
  • Participate in departmental outreach programs and student organizations.
  • Supervise student teachers.
  • Build partnerships with area schools and maintain positive relationships with teachers and staff in site schools.
  • Contribute to the ongoing programmatic development of the Professional Program in Education.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters in Education or closely related field at time of application
  • 5 years of successful PK-12 experience at the primary level
  • Current WI teaching license
  • Experience writing curriculum and working with pre-service teachers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current WI EC Licensure-0-8

Conditions of Appointment:

Position is a full-time, 9-month, instructional academic staff appointment.  Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s).
