| Position: | Hmong Studies Instructor – Hmong Language (Ad Hoc) |

| Essential Job Functions: | Will teach course(s) in Introduction to Hmong Language (for non-Hmong speakers) and Intermediate Hmong (for Hmong heritage speakers). Hmong Studies courses are usually taught late afternoon or evening times. We seek qualified persons in each area to teach courses during the fall and spring semesters, and also for the 2009-2010 school year. |
| Qualifications: | MA or PhD in language, linguistics, or closely related field, or experience teaching Hmong language courses. |
| Starting Date: | August 25, 2008 |
| Conditions of Appointment: | Employment will require a criminal background check. A pending criminal charge or conviction will not necessarily disqualify an applicant. | Salary: | $4,000 per 4-credit course |
