Campus Cookout:
UW-Green Bay faculty and staff look forward to spring for several reasons,
one of which is our cookout on the University Union plaza. At this time
recent retirees are introduced, and all faculty and staff are thanked
for their years of service. A delicious offering of Green Bay's picnic
favorites, cake, and beverages is free and open
to all faculty and staff.
Ice Cream Social:
Enjoy ice cream, chat with your colleagues, meet new friends,
and celebrate the last few days of summer at the Chancellors ice cream
social.
In addition to this free event, ice cream specials are available weekly
throughout the summer at the University Union for a nominal fee.
Mid-Year Convocation:
Mid-Year Convocation is a campus gathering to kick off the spring semester and celebrate significant anniversaries of UW-Green Bay faculty and staff. This annual event is held in January and kicks off the spring semester. The Mid-Year Convocation begins with a complimentary breakfast, and concludes with a ceremony recognizing faculty and staff members who receive years of service awards. All UWGB faculty and staff members are invited to attend.
