The Founders Association Awards for Excellence are presented during Convocation. These include:
- Faculty Award for Excellence in Scholarship
- Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching
- University Award for Excellence in Community Outreach
- University Award for Excellence in Institutional Development
- Academic Support Award for Excellence
- Administrative Support Award for Excellence
Service Awards
Service awards are presented to faculty and staff as they reach career
milestones in their 10th, 20th year, and so on, at the annual service
award celebration. How many years do we recognize? We have recognized
35 years of service... so far!
Awards for Ideas or Suggestions
Faculty and staff can receive cash awards for ideas or suggestions
that significantly improve the quality of state government operations
and services. Information about this program, the Wisconsin State Employee

Honorary Degrees
UW-Green Bay awards honorary degrees for Doctor of Laws, Doctor of
Science, Doctor of Humane Letters, and Doctor of Literature to qualified
individuals.
Named Professorships
Through the generosity of friends, the University of Wisconsin-Green
Bay is able to award named professorships to support the scholarly work
