New Employees

Welcome! We're glad to have you join the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay!

The Office of Human Resources is here to assist all employees with regards to their hiring, payroll, benefits and any other questions that you may have. We encourage an atmosphere where faculty and staff can feel personally and professionally challenged and share our institutional vision and values. The Human Resources website features information and resources to help you learn about UWGB and the Green Bay area.

Key Information

Classified Campus
Connection Program

The goal of the Classified Campus Connection Program is to foster a cooperative network among classified staff, as well as to cultivate a sense of community on campus. The program benefits new employees by giving them a friendly resource. In return, existing employees have the opportunity to share their experiences and knowledge. New classified employees are matched with another classified employee to be his or her "Campus Resource Person." This person will contact the new employee periodically during his or her first few weeks, offer a tour of the campus, and invite the new employee to a Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) meeting. Please contact Human Resources at (920) 465-2390 or if you have any questions.

Faculty and Academic Staff
Mentoring Program

New faculty and staff have a wonderful resource available to them as they begin tackling the intricacies of their new positions and the University. After arriving on campus you will be contacted by a member of the faculty or academic staff who will familiarize you with the mentor program and connect you with a mentor. If you do not hear from someone within your first couple of weeks on campus, new Faculty should contact the Center for Advancement of Teaching and Learning (CATL) (920) 465-2199 or New Academic Staff should contact the Leadership and Involvement Committee members for additional information.
