Nicasio Paquiz, Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach

Originally from Chicago, IL, Nic earned his Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1998. From 2000-2011, Nic was a Senior Job Captain for the Landry Design Group, a high-end residential architecture firm based in Los Angeles, California. In addition to working as a design professional, Nic has been coaching volleyball since 1994 at the collegiate, club, and/or high school levels.

Chrisanna was a Graduate Assistant for Fitness and Employee Wellness at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo for two years. She is a food enthusiast, fitness instructor, and adventurer with an affinity for music. Chrisanna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition at the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology at Western Michigan University. Ken was a former student athlete in the nordic skiing program. He graduated from UW-Green Bay with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy and Planning and minors in Environmental Science and Geography. He earned his Associate's degree from Mid State Technical College as a Renewable Energy Specialist, and is working on his Master's degree in Natural Resources from UW-Stevens Point. Ken currently owns a renewable energy company, Statz Industries, which focuses on solar installations.

Tom is a member of the steering committee for the Wisconsin Alliance for Drug Endangered Children. He is from Rothschild, Wisconsin.

Katie previously worked with the Weidner Center as a Group Sales Manager and most recently as President of Weidner Center Presents, Inc. She was also the Director of Marketing and Partnerships for the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau. Katie is involved with the Green Bay West Rotary Club, was appointed to the City of Green Bay Fourth of July Fireworks Board, was a past Vice President of the Wisconsin Harbor Towns Association, served as an Executive Committee Member of Tall Ship Tours, Inc., and is a member of UW-Green Bay's Marketing and Branding Task Force. She earned her Bachelor's degree from UW-Green Bay in Communication Processes with a minor in Information Sciences, and is from Green Bay.

Ingrid Bego received her Ph.D.in Political Science from Washington State University in 2011. Her teaching and research interests focus on issues of democratization, global governance and public policy. She teaches courses in the areas of Global Politics, Comparative Politics, East and West European Politics as well as Gender and Politics. Currently she is working on understanding the effect of Europeanization on civil society in Central and Eastern Europe and the consequences that it has on democratic development. Her dissertation is currently being considered for publication by a reputable academic press.

He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Eastern Illinois University and recently completed his PhD in Zoology from Michigan State University. Patrick is actively involved with the American Fisheries Society. He is from Mackinaw, Illinois.

Jenell is originally from Chambersburg, PA. She attended Penn State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2005. From there, she attended Indiana University, earning a Master's degree in Educational Psychology in 2008, and a doctoral degree in School Psychology in 2010. Following graduation, Jenell worked for the Center for Evaluation and Education Policy at Indiana University conducting research on after school programs. In her spare time, Jenell enjoys taking pictures, watching football, and spending time with her family.

Sue worked at the University of Northern Iowa for 21 years. She earned her Ph.D. in Epidemiology from The University of Iowa, and has a research focus in cancer survival disparities. Sue is a current volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and the Service League of Green Bay. In her free time, she loves playing soccer, travel, reading, and various needle arts. She is previously from Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Victoria Kersten is a graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. Since she and her husband moved to Green Bay in 1997, she has volunteered many hours at her daughter's public schools and with Girl Scouts. Last year she was the head of the Parent Teacher Associations at both Lombardi Middle School and Langlade Elementary School. Some of you might know her husband, Andrew, who is a historian on campus in the Department of Democracy and Justice Studies.
