Essential Job Functions:

The Director of Ticket Sales and Services reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for External Relations and is responsible for the overall functioning of the UW-Green Bay athletics ticket office. The primary focus of this position is on design and development of strategies to increase ticket sales for the Department of Athletics. This position also includes cultivation and solicitation of corporations and other organizations for the purpose of increasing season and group sales.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Solicit the sales of season tickets for UW-Green Bay athletics, with a primary focus on men's and women's basketball and volleyball.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with fans, donors, corporations, and other organizations.
  • Implement a strategy for maximizing ticket sales for athletic events.
  • Coordinate with marketing, ticketing, development, and alumni offices.
  • Plan and coordinate programs and events for public relations.
  • Maintain accurate records for leads, reporting, and auditing purposes.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise student teams to help with ticket fulfillment and provide customer service.
  • Work with Resch Center staff and Ticketstar on best practices to increase ticket sales and services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree at time of application
  • 1 year experience in ticket sales and operations
  • Experience with ticketing software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with an intercollegiate athletics department

Conditions of Appointment:

Position is a full-time academic staff appointment.  Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). Special Conditions of Appointment: This position will require work on nights and weekends throughout the year in order to meet the needs of the Athletics Department. Must be authorized to drive in accordance with the requirements of the State of Wisconsin.
