| Essential Job Functions: | Under general supervision of the Coordinator of Adult Degree Programs, this individual will:

| Qualifications: | Required: Bachelor’s degree required. Demonstrated record of progressive experience in instructional design. Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work with multiple constituencies and manage complex tasks within clear timelines. Excellent oral, written, electronic, and interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of Windows and Macintosh platforms and familiarity with productivity software applications. Web design skills, including proficiency with authoring software (e.g., Dreamweaver, Photoshop, other applications). Preferred: Experience working with a course management system (e.g., Desire2Learn, WebCT, Blackboard). Experience with digitized audio and video technologies. Understanding and appreciation of the needs of returning adult students and adult education. Training and/or teaching experience in higher education. |
| Starting Date: | September 1, 2008 |
| Conditions of Appointment: | Position is a part-time (50%) 12-month appointment. This position is likely to become full-time in the future to meet the growing needs of the Adult Degree Program. The UW System provides an excellent benefits package including participation in a state pension plan. Official transcripts of the highest degree achieved will be required of finalist(s). A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). |
| Salary: | $21,000 minimum |
