Position: Instructional Technology Assistant LTE

Essential Job Functions: The Instructional Technology Assistant Limited Term Employee (LTE) in Academic Technology Services will be responsible for resolving technical issues via phone, e-mail, and in person. This position will serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to various instructional technology platforms and services. The individual will perform software administration tasks, such as creating and managing user accounts, online course sites, and other resources that pertain to academic and instructional technology environments.
Qualifications: • Ability to quickly learn how to use a wide variety of software, hardware and other technology
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, often describing technical processes to non-technical customers
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience in a customer service and/or technology support role
• Commitment to education
• Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
Conditions of Appointment: This is a Limited Term Employment position with no benefits. This position will work approximately 35 hours per week. Employment will require a criminal background check. Salary: Pay rate will be $14.00 per hour.
