Email Information and Network Access
All faculty and staff employed by the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for longer than 30 days will have email accounts established for them. You will receive all of the University’s news electronically, including the LOG, e-mail messages from the Chancellor, news bulletins, and announcements of events and special happenings.
Your initial password will be provided to you by the time you arrive. You’ll need to change it the first time you log on. If you aren’t familiar with Microsoft Outlook, or need instructions on using a computer or the Internet, take advantage of one of our Computer Information Technology instructional classes. You also can call the Help Desk at 2309 for immediate assistance. Instructional materials also are available.
The University provides computers for general use by faculty and staff. They are located in the Computing Lab in IS 1120, the Cofrin Library, or at stations in the University Union.
Do you want to access your email while away from campus? From the University’s home page, select Faculty and Staff, and click on Outlook Web Access.
Email and Internet access is provided to you as long as you are a faculty or
staff member of UW-Green Bay. Your email account will close should your
employment end. Use of the email and Internet should be in accordance
with Acceptable
Use Policy for Technology and the Internet.
