Advising: Human Biology (Exercise Science & General), Physiology, Pre-Physical Therapy, Athletic Training.
Research Interests: My expertise is in the area of exercise physiology, particularly as it relates to neural adaptations across the lifespan. I am currently studying the effects of exercise training on glucocorticoid response and neuroplasticity in cardiorespiratory and locomotor areas of the brain. As a certified athletic trainer, I am also interested in investigating screening procedures to identify signs and symptoms of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which has been linked to most sudden cardiac deaths in young athletes.
