Human Development


Scholarships are offered each spring to qualifying Human Development majors who meet the specified criteria.

Scholarship Summary
Bonnie M. and Fergus P. Hughes Annual Scholarship This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a Human Development major or Psychology major who best exemplifies interdisciplinary achievement both in and out of the classroom including a strong overall academic record and a record of service to the University and/or community.  
Casie Rindfleisch-Schulz Scholarship in Psychology and Human Development This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a Human Development or Psychology major of at least junior standing who demonstrates excellence in terms of active campus/community involvement. Financial need will also be considered. The recipient must be a full-time student both for the fall and spring semesters of 2017-2018.
KaNisha Flemming Memorial Scholarship This $500 scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate Human Development or Psychology major. Preference will be given to a student with 1) a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and 2) the submission of a personal statement describing how their life has been affected by cancer (may include their own experience with cancer or that of a loved one).
Leanne and Michael Haddad Annual Scholarship This $1,000 Scholarship will be awarded to a current, full time UWGB undergraduate. The selected recipient must have declared a major in Human Development and provide a thoughtful essay detailing their community and campus involvement, as well as financial need.
