Payroll schedules provide employees information on pay period date ranges, the dates in which paperwork/timesheets must be submitted in order to be processed, and dates in which payment will be received. Though the pay period dates are specific to UW-Green Bay's academic calendar, the payment processing dates and pay dates are determined by UW System Administration.
Student employees work are paid on a bi-weekly basis. Student employees work a two-week period and are paid for that time almost two weeks later on a Thursday.
University Staff permanent and temporary employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis. Employees work a two-week period and are paid for that time almost two weeks later on a Thursday.
Academic Staff and Limited employees are paid the first of every month for work that occurred in the preceding month. If one such employee begins during the month, on the 14th, for example, that individual would receive 16 days of pay for that month (based on a 30-day calendar month). Twelve month employees are paid on an annual or 12-month basis. Faculty and other school year employees (Lecturers, Ad Hoc Instructors) are paid for 9 months. Their contract year begins usually the last week in August through the 3rd week in May. This group of faculty and staff are also paid the first of the month.
