Students should consult with faculty members during registration periods and as needed. We are available to provide you with information about our program, to help you decide if our major or minor is appropriate for you, to help you choose upper level electives, and to help you with career options. If you have already decided to major or minor in Human Biology, please do the following:

Arrange an appointment with a Human Biology advisor to discuss and develop your academic plan. Check here for a complete list of Human Biology faculty who are available to assist you with your advising needs prior to registration. Each faculty member also has a sign-up sheet posted on their office door.

Review the pertinent advising curriculum plan checklist:

Subsequent to this academic counseling, your Human Biology advisor will sign a Declaration of Major form to declare your major or minor.
A DECLARATION OF MAJOR FORM WILL NOT BE COMPLETED BY AN ACADEMIC ADVISOR IN HUMAN BIOLOGY UNTIL YOU HAVE DISCUSSED YOUR ACADEMIC PLAN WITH YOUR ADVISOR.
