October Meeting Minutes

·        The meetings held on the 2^nd Monday of each month will be moved to the 2^nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

o       Next Month’s Meetings will be Thursday Nov. 7^th at 7 p.m. in the Wequiock Room, Tuesday Nov. 27^th at 1 p.m. in the Heritage room, and December 13^th at 7 p.m. in the Wequiock Room

·        The club now has its own Cubby located by the Org Offices in the Union.  The club website should be up and running soon.

·        Club funds were discussed

o       Purchase MCAT study material

o       Fund trips

·        The fundraising opportunity at the Morgue Haunted House was canceled due to not enough people interested.

o       Volunteer Fair Oct. 10 12-2 p.m.  in the Phenoix Rooms

o       Possible opportunities: Red Cross, Red Cliff Tribe, or Habitat for Humanity

·        Nov. 3^rd  9 a.m. -2 p.m. trip to National University of Health

o       Mock patient and mini classes

o       Alumni and current students present

·        Doctor Anders is giving a presentation of his work Nov. 13^th at 7p.m. in MAC 221
