9/25/07 Meeting Minutes

·         New officers were elected for the school year.  The New officers are:

o        President: John McNicoll

o        Vice President: Joe Dvorak

o        Secretary: Caitlin VanWormer

o        Treasurer: Emily Basten

o        Fundraising: Stacie Goldsmith

o        Community Outreach: Dan Hawk

o        Coordinate Field Trips: Sammy Olesiak

·         New meeting times and dates were also decided.  It will be the 2^nd Monday and 4^th Tuesday of every month at 1:00 pm.  Next months’ meetings will be held on October 8^th and October 23^rd.  Meeting locations are still pending.

·         MCAT study sessions

o        Once a month

o        Professors present at sessions

o        Mock interviews for seniors

·         Members presented some new volunteering ideas which included

o        Boys & Girls Club

o        Red Cross

o        Teaching middle school students about the health care field
